Master of Science in Information Systems Management (M.S.I.S.M.)

The M.S.I.S.M. degree program prepares students for technology management and leadership positions in business and nonprofit organizations. Students who complete the program will better understand how to use technology to achieve strategic business goals, manage technology resources and leverage information for competitive advantage. The program is designed to meet the needs of individuals with strong business backgrounds who wish to augment their business skills with technical expertise, as well as those with strong technical backgrounds who wish to enhance their management skills. All students will explore the moral, social and ethical implications and issues that relate to the pervasive use of information technology in our personal and professional lives.

Graduates of the M.S.I.S.M. degree program typically find positions as project managers, database administrators, software architects, systems analysts, business analysts and application developers. They pursue their careers in a variety of organizations including large and mid-size corporations, entrepreneurial companies, nonprofits and government agencies.
